Kirana Nosara's pool, swing daybed, and outdoor dining terrace

Theme 01 · The Villa

Luxury that doesn't flinch when the kids cannonball.

Brand-new construction, four bedrooms, four baths, and every detail, from the bunk room to the espresso machine, built for real families on real vacations.

Sleeps 10, beautifully

Three king suites. One bunk room the kids will never want to leave.

Every bedroom got the same obsessive treatment: high-end mattresses, hotel-grade linens, blackout curtains, and quiet air conditioning. The result is some of the best sleep you'll ever have, after days that end salty and sun-tired. One suite opens to its own outdoor soaking tub in a private jungle garden.

Kids' TV room

A separate lounge where movie night happens and the grown-ups keep the terrace. Board games, streaming, done.

Full laundry

Washer and dryer in the house. Pack half as much, come home with zero bags of wet swimsuits.

Private pool + swing daybed

A long saltwater-style pool with a stone waterfall, teak deck, outdoor dining for six, and a hanging daybed built for naps. The floats stay busy.

Chef's kitchen with oversized stone island and bar seating

The kitchen

A full, usable, genuinely high-end kitchen.

Not the sad rental-kitchen with three pans. An oversized stone island with seating, full-size refrigerator, gas range and hood, an espresso machine for proper morning coffee, a wine fridge, and indoor dining for eight plus outdoor dining for six.

Provision at Orgánico or the Tuesday farmers market, put something on the Sonos, cook the mahi you picked up at Pescadería Alex, and eat on the terrace while the kids do lap number two hundred of the pool.

The town

Playa Guiones is Costa Rica's family beach town, perfected.

Nosara is widely regarded as one of the safest beach communities in Costa Rica: a town with no high-rises, no vendors working the sand, and a beach so protected it's backed by jungle instead of hotels. Costa Rica itself abolished its army in 1948 and ranks as the most peaceful country in Central America.

The beach is the reason families come back every year: seven kilometers of sand with a gentle, sandy-bottom double break. The big waves break far out on the outer bar, so the inside section rolls in as soft whitewater where kids splash, boogie-board, and stand up on their first wave without ever being near the big sets. A year-round lifeguard now watches the main beach entrance, the Nosara Ocean Safety program flies daily beach flags, and surf schools teach right out front.

And it's a Blue Zone. National Geographic identified the Nicoya Peninsula as one of just five places on Earth where people live measurably longer. This is a vacation that's literally good for you.

The Kirana restaurant list
“This property is truly ideal, located in the K section and just a short walk to the beach. It was a perfect fit for my family, including my 70-year-old parents. We thoroughly enjoyed both the home and the Nosara area. Whether you’re looking to relax as a beach bum and enjoy some peace and quiet, or seek adventure through ATVing, horseback riding, surfing, and more, this location offers it all. We also loved exploring the beautiful local restaurants. Thank you for being such responsive and attentive hosts, and for going above and beyond to help us recover the belongings we accidentally left behind.”

Questions

Family questions, answered

Is Kirana Nosara good for young kids?

Yes. The kids' room has a queen bed plus two twin bunks and its own desk, there's a dedicated TV room for movie nights, a private pool, laundry for sandy clothes, and the gentle inside section of Playa Guiones is a few minutes' walk away.

Is Playa Guiones safe for children in the water?

Guiones is a sandy-bottom beach famous for long, rolling whitewater, with no rocks or reef anywhere in the lineup. The big waves break far outside on the outer sandbar, so kids play and learn to surf in the soft inside section. A year-round lifeguard is now posted at the main beach entrance, and the Nosara Ocean Safety program posts daily beach flags. As on any Pacific beach, keep kids within arm's reach and respect the flags.

How are the beds?

Three king suites plus the kids' room, all with high-end mattresses and linens chosen for the best sleep of your trip. Several guests have called it the best they've slept on vacation.

Can we cook real meals?

The kitchen is the social hub of the house: an oversized stone island with bar seating, full-size appliances, an espresso machine, and a wine fridge. Orgánico grocery and the Tuesday farmers market cover provisioning; a private chef can be arranged through the concierge.
